Weekly Inspiration |
Midweek UpdateThis last Sunday, we had part three of the series Building a Higher Consciousness – Part 3: “Co-Creating with God.” We are using the book The Five Principles as our companion to this series. Co-Creating with God is quite a concept to think about. This week I talked about how the power never resides in the situations, circumstances or events in our lives, it resides in how we choose to respond to these things.
For there is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so. -William Shakespeare
We can all apply the law of attraction in our lives -- in fact, we are all already applying it. The big idea is to realize that this is what’s happening and then to consciously harness this power and put it into service of our highest and best good. A huge step in this direction is to align not only our thoughts to what we truly desire but to also align our feelings. When we link our thinking and feeling natures we are focusing our energy in a powerful manner.
Our deepest desires are aligned with God’s will for us! How could it be otherwise since God is in us and God is in all? So when we follow our bliss we are aligning with God’s will for us. How refreshing that concept is!
AFFIRMATION: My thoughts and feelings create my experience.
Rev. Bill
This Coming Sunday:
“Building a Higher Consciousness” – Part 4: Communion with God
This coming Sunday will be part four of our five-part series on building a higher consciousness. This week we will be concentrating on “communing with God.” The talk title is "120 Years of Silent Unity: It Began With Myrtle's Prayer. What is Your Prayer?" We have a real treat in store: Rev. Lynne Brown, the Director of Silent Unity, will be our guest speaker. I know of no one who is more grounded in prayer than Lynne. It’s a great time to bring someone new to Unity. It’s an opportunity to learn about this important topic from a Master Teacher. See you at 9:30am or 11:15am.
